[MEDIA TASTING] – JOO BAR

So I had the honor to be invited over to Joo Bar yesterday for a media tasting with my fellow churpies! 
To be honest, I haven't heard of this restaurant before & I was looking forward to it!

Joo Bar,  first & only makgeolli bar and restaurant (in Singapore) that was founded by 2 Singaporeans who loves Korean culture & delicacies. The 3-storey heritage shophouse is located just across Bugis Junction, a 5 minute walk from the new Bugis Downtown line exit D. I love the rusty and stylish interior, looking very different from your typical Korean restaurant yet it gives off a sense of laidback cosiness with the dark wooden furniture and black accents. 
I love how the entire area makes me feel like I'm home & relaxed. 

VIETNAM 2015 – Day 1 & 2

Last week, my family & I went to Vietnam – Hanoi. 

It was a very impromptu trip and yes, I skipped two days of lessons. (oops)

I didn't actually wanted to go as I don't think I'll like it there. But I am glad I went.

It was really a very different experience for me & I actually enjoyed it.

Hello everyone!

Happy Lunar New Year

 新年快樂，恭喜發財，萬事如意。

Okay. enough. Hahahah. You get what I mean. 

Yes, since I'm having a week break, I decided to blog! 

& this year, is 'my' year. As I was born in the year of goattt. 

People who knows me, will know that I loveeee Lunar New Year. 

I love to have gatherings, family and friends getting together, catching up,

gambling & all the awesomely good food & tons of bak kwa. Hahah.

3rd year anniversary & Valentine's.

So, my boy & I have reached our 3rd year together.

It was not a very smooth-sailing one. We had our fair share of fights & unhappiness.

But we pulled it together & braved it all.

I'll not be writing a whole load of stories here as we are still 3 years young. 

Nothing fancy.

Celebrated our 3rd year with just a very simple dinner & some time spent tgt. 

As I've got submissions to rush. Yes, what a bummer. But I'm still happy!

Into a new year – 2015

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

(yes, it is still Christmas if you're wondering) 

So yes, I'm here to do a closing & some new year resolutions 
(tho I never fail to not fulfil them lol).

2014 has been a roller coaster ride for me (i think every year also the same) 
but thankfully for me, 2014 had be good in general. I've met some of the nicest people I can ever meet actually & am really blessed and thankful that I met them.
